The AS-V Pro Youth player pants combine pro looks with elite-level protection and comfort for little hockey players. With D3O foam, E-Fit internal and external belts, and a 200D nylon shell, the AS-V Pro checks all the boxes, assuring your child can continue to enjoy the game to its fullest.
External Materials
The exterior of the pads has been furnished with premium 200D nylon. CCM made note of general areas on hockey pants that tend to suffer the most wear and added extra 400D nylon reinforcements as needed, which is the same material used in the highest-end AS-V Pro pants at the Senior and Junior levels.
Thigh Protection
A PE plastic cap and PE foam protect your child’s thighs from impact when falling or battling for the puck. The strong foam and plastic offer young players a high level of protection and mobility, ensuring they can play their best during the game.
Hip Protection
The AS-V Pro uses a unique, elite-level design to disperse impact force away from young players’ hips and joints. The design is optimized to protect against falls, tumbles, and during battles with other young players.
Spine Protection
The spine is secured with the use of a floating spine protector coupled with D3O Smart Material in the tailbone pad, giving young players max protection in the back while they play. D3O is commonly used in CCM protective gear due to its amazing cushioning and absorption properties, as seen even in military equipment.
Belt/Lace Closure
It’s important to keep your child comfortable in their gear while they play, or else they may lose some enjoyment in the game. The E-Fit internal belt on the pants is stretchy and snug for max comfort. An external belt was also added for some extra insurance.
Leg Zippers
For young growing players, CCM has included a one-inch zipper extension on the AS-V, which will add length to their gear in the future.
